General Shipping Info:

• We ship twice a week by Canada Post to all points, including PO Boxes, in Canada and the USA
• FOB our warehouse.
• For clients in Canada, Greyhound Courier Express - freight collect - is also an option.
• All orders are shipped out; sorry - there are no pick ups.
• We offer free delivery to clients in the Shuswap (Chase - Revelstoke - Salmon Arm).

• All Post shipped orders are shipped freight prepaid and shipping is charged on the invoice.
• We use Canada Post's Electronic Shipping Tools (EST). When your order ships out you will be sent a Shipment Notification email from Canada Post with details of your shipment. This email also contains your item number and a link if you wish to obtain the status of your shipment (tracking). Please make sure to provide the correct email address when you order.
• Website subtotal invoice and automatic email confirmation of order does not include shipping & handling. Shipping costs will be added to the invoice when the order is shipped.
• Remember too that our Miva Merchant ordering system is just that, an ordering system to provide us with all the data to begin to process your order. It is not a real time payment gateway and has no way of knowing what the size, weight or number of boxes in your shipment will be, nor has it any way to figure shipping. That is done offline after we have packed, weighed and measured the order and entered all the info into the shipping database at the time the order is shipping out. • Shipping by Greyhound is freight collect only.

Shipping Schedule: We ship twice a week. Our shipping days are Tuesdays and Fridays. Cutoff times for orders are 10 am the day before. If you get your order in by 10am Monday, it will ship out on Tuesday, or if in by 10am Thursday it will ship out on Friday. If you would like to double check when your order is shipping out, just email us.

Shipping & Handling Costs: We charge the exact shipping cost, as quoted in the Canada Post software at the time of shipping, plus $5 handling. The handling fee is to help cover the additional we are charged for fuel surcharges and adjustments etc. that is not quoted by the software on the items at the time of shipping, as well as the courier costs for delivering our orders to the post office. The handling fee is per order, not per piece, and does not apply to Greyhound shipped orders.
Expedited and Expedited USA are the cheapest shipping methods available. Sometimes shipping times and speed are more important than price, so we also offer faster methods that are still very cost effective. If you would like a shipping quote, please email us. Shipping costs are based on both location and volumetric weight. Volumetric weight (sometimes referred to as cube weight), means that the dimensions of the box are taken into account as well as the weight. Very large dimensionally, but light in weight boxes would be charged at a higher weight because of the large amount of space they take up vs. their weight. On average S&H works out to 15% of the value of the shipment. On many orders the shipping cost percentage is much lower due to a higher dollar value of the shipment, and/or smaller boxes/weight (a small box with essential oils might be 5% shipping cost or less). Some orders are a higher percentage when the dollar value is low and the order heavy or larger cube weight (a minimum order with a 50lb bag of a low cost item or a big bulky box of jars for example). Compared to other shipping methods, Post and Greyhound are very economical and the best rates going.

Shipping Within Canada: We have two postal shipping methods to offer for shipments within Canada. The cheapest is Expedited, fastest is Xpresspost. We have no way of adding the various available options to our shipping screen, so if you would like any of the options, please email us and let us know. Please see below for shipping options available.

Expedited - *Cheapest* Expedited Parcel is a fast, cost-effective, ground delivery service for parcels within Canada. Expedited Parcel is faster than Regular Parcel Post, but cheaper. As Regular Parcel is the same price but slower, we do not offer Regular Parcel as a shipping option.

Expedited Options:

• Signature (not checked unless specifically requested)
• Additional coverage against loss or damage up to $5,000.00 (all orders are shipped fully insured for their value)
• Card for Pick Up

Expedited Delivery Standards:

Expedited Parcel delivers the next business day locally, 1 to 3 business days regionally, and 2 to 7 business days nationally between major Canadian centres. Please note some rural areas of Eastern Canada may experience a longer ship time. Service standards are based on the day of deposit (day 0) plus the number of business days required for delivery and do not include weekends and statutory holidays.
Generally delivery times are:

  - 100 Mile House, Armstrong, Golden, Invermere, Kamloops, Revelstoke, Vernon and within the Shuswap/S. Thompson/N. Okanagan region.
• 2 days
  - Abbotsford, Campbell River, Courtenay, Cranbrook, Crescent Valley, Dawson Creek, Galiano Island, Hornby Island, Kelowna, Nanaimo, Nakusp, Nelson, Port McNeill, Powell River, Prince George, Prince Rupert, Saltspring Island, Sidney, Sooke, Squamish, Terrace, Trail, Vancouver, Victoria, Whistler, Williams Lake and most of the rest of the Southern Interior, Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley, the Sunshine Coast, most points on Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands.

Please note we have experienced faster than quoted delivery times. Quite often orders shipping out on a Friday to Vancouver or Calgary by Expedited will arrive Monday rather than Tuesday as expected.

Xpresspost - *Fastest* Xpresspost is a shipping service that provides fast delivery at a cost much less than courier.

Xpresspost Features:

Xpresspost Options:

• Signature (not checked unless specifically requested)
• Additional coverage against loss or damage up to $5,000.00 (all orders are shipped fully insured for their value)
• Card for Pick Up

Xpresspost Delivery Standards:

Xpresspost delivers the next business day locally and regionally, and 2 business days nationally between most major Canadian centres. Service standards are based on the day of deposit (day 0) plus the number of business days required for delivery and do not include weekends and statutory holidays.
Generally delivery times are 1-2 days within BC and to major centers in AB, 3 days to major centers in ON and QC.

Priority Courier - No Longer Available

• Please note we no longer offer Priority Courier as a shipping method option.
• After a year of offering this method we have found that in almost every instance, Xpresspost was the same delivery time as Priority Courier at a fraction of the cost. In the few rare situations where it was faster, it was only a difference of 1 day and often twice the price. As it almost always ends up that this method is not used once prices and times are known, we have removed this as a shipping option. If you need a faster shipping method than Expedited (the most cost effective shipping there is, and the method that over 95% of our orders ship via) please choose Xpresspost. If you are in BC or Alberta and the two days delivery time by Expedited is not fast enough (or your order is shipping out on a Friday and you need to be able to pick it up on Saturday), Greyhound Courier is a good alternative.

Shipping To The USA: We have two shipping methods to offer for shipments to our US clients. The cheapest is Expedited USA (at one time called Surface Parcel), fastest is Xpresspost USA. Expedited and Xpresspost USA are very cost effective and include postal customs clearance, so you won't be surprised by customs clearance fees. All shipping methods to the US do not include any applicable duties or taxes, which may be due upon delivery. However most of the products we sell are duty free under NAFTA and we have not heard of any of our US clients being charged duty. Both these shipping methods to the US have experienced service upgrades recently and now offer faster shipping times and better tracking than in the past:
Effective August 23, 2010:
Xpresspost – USA will offer delivery standards of only 2 and 3* days between major urban centres, compared to 3 days up to 5 days. Additional tracking scans will show both when an item has arrived at and cleared Customs. Also, the receiver’s signature will now be captured for every delivery!
Expedited Parcel - USA will offer delivery standards of 4 days up to 8 days* between major urban centres, compared to the previous standards of 6 days up to 12 days, in addition to improved delivery scan performance.
*Business days between major urban centers, some exceptions apply.

Expedited USA - *Cheapest* is the most economical ground shipping service for sending parcels to the USA. Expedited USA is for businesses shipping items that are not time-sensitive - and where saving money is the top priority. If you need to save money, you can still get reliable delivery by using Expedited USA service.

• Delivery confirmation
• Coverage for loss or damage up to $100 included.
• Additional coverage against loss or damage up to $1000
• Delivery to every address and post office box in the U.S.A.

Expedited USA Delivery Standards:

Delivery expectations are within 4 to 8 business days between major urban centers from Canada to the US. When quoted times were 6 to 12 business days, we would typically see about a week delivery time to most points. Current delivery standards show about 5 days to most points. Often delivery times are faster than expected, for example we have been quoted 12 days delivery time for a shipment to SC, yet it actually arrived there in only 4 business days.

Xpresspost USA - *Fastest* is a shipping service that provides fast delivery - at a cost much less than courier - to every address in the U.S.A., including P.O. boxes. This service is for consumers and businesses that need a fast delivery service but want to control their costs. Xpresspost - USA is a shipping service that provides fast, on-time delivery - with delivery confirmation for packages and parcels destined for USA addresses and post office boxes.

Xpresspost USA Features and Options:

• On-time delivery guarantee
• Delivery confirmation
• Coverage for loss or damage up to $100 included
• Delivery to every address and post office box in the U.S.A.
• Saturday delivery
• Additional coverage against loss or damage up to $1,000.00

Xpresspost USA Delivery Standards:

Xpresspost - U.S.A. delivers in 2-5 business days. Service standards are based on the day of deposit (day 0) plus the number of business days required for delivery and do not include weekends and statutory holidays. Current delivery standards would mean 3-4 days to most points.

Please note we are not responsible for delays or damage to shipments once they have left our warehouse.
