Euphorbia cerifera A vegetable wax from a plant that grows in southern Texas and northwestern Mexico This natural product is extracted by boiling the shrub. The wax is then refined so the end product is a light yellow pastille (bead) Non-toxic and non-irritating Candelilla is used in a variety of cosmetic and personal care products including lip products. Has film forming and water repellent qualities. Suited for uses where a firm product is desired. Can be used to add hardness to other waxes without increasing melt point.
