- Red powdered pigment used to color cosmetics and soap. Although it is brick red/rust colored in powder form, in soap it yields a pinker shade. 1 tsp. in a 10 lb. batch of soap will give a rich colour. Can be combined with black oxide for darker shades of red or with titanium dioxide for shades of pink. 1 tbsp. / 15 ml weighs approximately 10g. Photo of test results in soap. Excellent lightfastness. Used in liquid foundation, pressed powder, eye make-up, lipstick, nail lacquer, lotion and more.
