  • Yellow powdered pigment used to color cosmetics and soap. Similar results in soap to yellow ochre, but slightly less gold in colour. 1 tbsp. / 15 ml weighs approximately 10g. Photo of test results in soap. Excellent lightfastness. Used in liquid foundation, pressed powder, eye make-up, lipstick, nail lacquer, lotion and more. Use of this color is limited to ingested or topically applied drugs and cosmetics. Also called Ferric Oxide Hydrate. Chemical formula Fe2O3H2O. CI 77492
